A North Cobb High school freshman has died during a field trip to Belize. Tomari Aliijah Jackson had been reported as missing while he, his class and chaperones were visiting the Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. He was later found dead after a search.

An Atlanta business was raided by law enforcement officials on Monday morning who reportedly suspect the window tinting business of being a training ground for an interstate jewelry theft ring.
Buckhead Window Tinting is located on Cheshire Bridge Road. Police say the owners, Michael and Larry Gilmore, used the business to train a Smyrna woman in how to hold handguns, tie employees up and what merchandise to steal, reports WTOC. >>> Read more.

The Georgia House of Representatives has unanimously approved a bill making the so-called ”adoptable dog” as the state’s first-ever, official canine mascot.
