A 13-year-old St. Charles girl fought off a would-be robber Dec. 11 at about 4 p.m., according to a press release from the Kane County Sheriff's Office. Police were dispatched to the 34W500 block of Colley Drive in St. Charles on a report of an attempted robbery.
