A 13-year-old St. Charles girl fought off a would-be robber Dec. 11 at about 4 p.m., according to a press release from the Kane County Sheriff's Office. Police were dispatched to the 34W500 block of Colley Drive in St. Charles on a report of an attempted robbery.
A St. Charles man is facing felony drug charges after receiving a package with over 100 ecstasy pills and about seven grams of methamphetamine, according to reports.
On Sept. 30, at the St. Charles Auto Spa, somebody became stuck in the business' heavy operating machinery. The victim suffered physical injuries in the machine, worsening over time. The injuries would have been worse had it not been for Martha Rossdahl and Karlos Ingram.
