Motor Vehicles Collide At Busy Malden Intersection
The incident is now under investigation.
MALDEN, MA — A motor vehicle collision that took place at a busy four-way intersection is now under investigation, according to the Malden Police Department.
Officers and emergency services responded to the scene at the intersection of Ferry and Centre Streets at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Friday, March 6.
Captain Marc Gatcomb told Patch that a 2025 Kia vehicle collided with a 2025 Mercedes SUV as it was turning from Centre Street onto Ferry Street. No injuries were reported, however both vehicles sustained substantial damage as a result of the crash. Traffic was temporarily halted but the scene was cleared in less than one hour.
