Felon Indicted On Gun Possession Charge After Shooting: Court Roundup

Mont Vernon man indicted on 9 child rape charges; Merrimack woman indicted on child strangulation charges; man faces road rage gun charges.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Scot Abelson, 58, with a last known address of Old Wilton Road in Mont Vernon on nine felony counts of pattern-aggravated felonious sexual assault. He was accused of raping and fondling a girl between April 10, 2010, and April 9, 2018, in Mont Vernon.

Harold Abreu, 26, of Kimball Street in Manchester on a felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell charge on March 21, 2023, in Manchester.

Jose Anaya, 52, of Crowley Street in Manchester on a felony robbery charge. He was accused of using physical force, ripping off a person’s necklace, and driving off with it on Aug. 19, 2023, in Manchester.

Anthony Barnette, 31, of Concord Street in Manchester on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing a gun and hiding it on Sept. 22, 2023, in Manchester. Barnette is a felon due to a first-degree assault conviction in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Charles A. Dexter, 36, of Manchester, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on a felony criminal threatening with a deadly weapon charge. He was accused of brandishing a knife and clenched first while advancing on a person on Oct. 2, 2022, in Manchester.

Cody Dickinson, 41, of Reservoir Road in Hillsboro on possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled drugs-subsequent-meth, possession of controlled drugs-subsequent-buprenorphine, and possession of controlled drugs-subsequent-alprazolam charges, all felonies. The charges stem from incidents in Hillsboro on Sept. 9, 2022, and Jan. 26, 2023.

David Dionne, 44, of Purchase Street in Manchester on a felony criminal threatening charge. He was accused of pointing a gun at another person while aggressively approaching them after stopping during a road rage incident in Manchester on Aug. 29, 2023.

Andrew Dufresne, 51, of Moody Street in Manchester on reckless conduct and possession of crack cocaine charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing the drug and driving a motor vehicle through the Mill West parking lot in Manchester at 50 mph on Sept. 12, 2023.

Nicholas Evans, 27 of Washington Avenue in Wilmington, Massachusetts, on a felony reckless conduct charge. He was accused of driving a U-Haul truck on a public way in Manchester at a high rate of speed while evading police on July 20, 2023.

William Farnsworth, 30, of Hanover Street in Manchester on a felony possession of fentanyl-more than 5 grams charge on Feb. 17, 2023, in Manchester.

Keagan Fellows, 21, of North Stark Highway in Weare on criminal threatening and reckless conduct charges, both felonies. He was accused of racking and pointing a gun at another person while driving in Weare on Sept. 5, 2023.

Andrew J. Fletcher-MacKenzie, 21, of Manchester Street in Manchester on two felony criminal threatening charges. He was accused of holding a gun and threatening to shoot another person in Manchester on Aug. 14, 2023.

Lamond C. Foster, 31, a homeless man now located in Manchester, on an aggravated harassment by a prisoner and criminal mischief charges, both felonies, and a simple assault by a prisoner charge. He was accused of damaging a light fixture and spitting at a corrections officer at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

Jeremy Francis, 34, of Cedar Street in Manchester on a felony pistols & revolvers; convicted felons charge. He was accused of possessing a handgun on May 14, 2023, in Manchester after previously being convicted of selling drugs in Rockingham County in November 2017.

Shane Funchion, 38, of Garden Drive in Manchester on two felony failure to register charges. He was accused of failing to register as a sex offender and register a new phone number with Manchester police on Sept. 14, 2021. Funchion is a sex offender due to a sexual assault conviction in Haverhill MA District Court in November 2019.
