Man Indicted On 16 Witness Tampering Charges Connected To Bedford Case: Court Roundup

Plus: Woman accused of dealing meth in Bedford; Manchester felon indicted on bank robbery charge; Bedford man accused of assaulting a woman.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Megan Burke, 34, of Manchester Street in Manchester on illegal possession of fentanyl, illegal possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, and illegal possession of THC charges, all felonies, on May 14, 2022, in Bedford.

David Voight, 32, of Ohio Avenue in Manchester on six criminal mischief and seven theft by unauthorized taking charges, all felonies. He was accused of retaining property from vehicles owned by six people as well as Erickson Foundation Services and striking six vehicles with a tire iron, causing more than $1,500 worth of damage, on Sept. 28, 2021, in Manchester.

Michael Wells, 56, of Lowell Street in Manchester on a felony robbery charge. He was accused of robbing a bank with a note saying, “I have a gun, no dye bags, no tracking, $100, $50, $20,” on Aug. 24, 2021, in Manchester. Jacob Wentworth, 30, of G Street in Hampton on two felony pistols & revolvers; convicted felons charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing metallic knuckles and a gun in Manchester on July 29, 2022.

Andy Williams, 58, of Lincoln Street in Manchester on a second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on Nov. 6, 2022, in Manchester.

Craig Carter, 47, of Elm Street in Manchester on 16 felony witness tampering charges. He was accused of retaliating against an intimate partner for providing information to Bedford police as well as asking her to withhold testimony by messaging her on Facebook as well as text messages on Aug. 26, Sept. 18, Sept. 19, and Nov. 5, 2022.

James Cassidy, 60, of South State Street in Concord on possession of crack cocaine and possession of cocaine charges, both felonies, on July 8, 2022, in Manchester.

Jeffrey Chessie, 28, of Mountain Road in Bedford on a felony first-degree assault charge. He was accused of striking a woman’s hand with a baseball bat on Oct. 8, 2022, in Manchester.

Richard Clark, 34, of Elm Street in Manchester on two felony second-degree assault charges. He was accused of strangling and pushing an intimate partner’s head into a pillow with an arm around her neck on Nov. 7, 2022, in Manchester.

Mariah Coughlin, 23, of Winn Hill Road in Sunapee on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge on Aug. 26, 2022, in Hillsboro.
