Assaults At Concord Homeless Camp Lead To Charges: Police Log

Plus: Aggravated DUI arrest in Concord; Manchester man accused of indecent exposure, drug possession, other charges; and warrant arrests.

CONCORD, NH — Isaiah Able, 24, of Manchester was arrested at 2:48 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2021, on a warrant after an incident on Pleasant Street Extension. Able was convicted on a felony second-degree assault charge in August 2018 while another assault charge was dropped. The warrant was issued by Hillsborough County Sheriffs after the case was reopened due to a violation of parole or probation allegation in July 2019.

Damien Isaac Armendariz, 27, of Epsom was arrested at 11:56 a.m. on Jan. 7 on a bench warrant. In December 2012, after being arrested on a burglary charge in Concord, he pleaded down to a criminal trespass charge. A year and three months later, he was found guilty of violation of probation or parole.

Chance Nsengiyumva, born 1998, of Concord was arrested at 10:46 a.m. on Jan. 7 on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge. He was arrested on Loudon Road.

Joseph Aaron Hamel, 38, of Concord was arrested at 6:18 a.m. on Jan. 7 on a warrant and a criminal trespass charge. The warrant stems from an incident on Locke Road while the trespass charge was connected to a Thompson Street address. Hamel was convicted on drug and revocation charges out of Epsom in October 2018, he pleaded guilty to violation of probation or parole in April 2019, and faces another violation of probation or parole accusation. He is due back in Merrimack County Superior Court on Feb. 21.

Alex Crowder, 31, a homeless man now located in Concord was arrested at 9:04 p.m. on Jan. 6 on criminal trespass and breach of bail charges. Police were sent to 6 Loudon Road for a report of a man who had been trespassed from the property "behaving strangely," an affidavit stated. The caller locked herself and a child in a bathroom, the report said. The first arriving officer immediately identified the man to be Crowder, based on previous contacts, including incidents "earlier in the day for similar behavior." The caller claimed Crowder said he worked there when she knew he did not and refused to leave when asked, the report said. A check found that Crowder was out on bail from another incident in December 2020 and he was arrested and held. Crowder has an active robbery charge out of Manchester from October 2020 and active burglary, criminal mischief, threatening, and prowling charges out of Concord from April 2019. He also has a number of prior cases in New Hampshire courts.

Devin A. Gilbert, 28, of Manchester was arrested at 1:06 p.m. on Jan. 6 on indecent exposure, receiving stolen property-$1,501+, and possession of a controlled drug charges, all felonies, as well as conduct after an accident, resisting arret or detention, and loitering or prowling charges. He was arrested after an incident on Clinton Street.

Sean Giedrys, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord was arrested at 8:59 p.m. on Dec. 8 and charged with simple assault and domestic violence charges. Officers were sent to the Shell gas station on Loudon Road at the base of Gully Hill for a report of an assault. A woman claimed she was assaulted by Giedrys at a homeless camp not far from the gas station, according to an affidavit. After being assaulted, she said she ran from the camp and slipped on ice, which caused more injuries. The victim accused Giedrys of biting her and pushing her during the assault. The officer examined the woman and saw bruises but no bite mark, the report stated. Giedrys, according to the affidavit, denied assaulting the woman and stated, he was grilling food when she started "flipping out." The officer accused Giedrys of smelling like alcohol and he admitted to drinking eight or nine nips, the report said. A witness reported hearing arguing and accused Giedrys of pushing the woman to the ground, the affidavit stated. He was arrested and held.

Darren Arthur Gero, born 1996, of Concord was arrested at 1:14 a.m. on Dec. 8 on a warrant. He was arrested after an incident in the Bog Road and Borough Road area of the city.

Sean E. Trinity, born 1984, of Concord was arrested at 9:27 p.m. on Dec. 7 on aggravated driving under the influence-0.16+ and driving while intoxicated charges. He was arrested after a stop on Storrs Street.
