Concord Falls To Timberlane Regional High School, 44-27; Crimson Tide Wrestlers End Regular Season At 21-1
Concord High School junior varsity wrestlers win 2 of 9 bouts; JV States held Saturday; Varsity Division I championship set for Feb. 21.
CONCORD, NH — The top Division I wrestling squads in New Hampshire battled it out at the final dual of the regular season on Wednesday night at Concord High School.
Before the bouts, Concord’s varsity wrestlers were 21-0 for the season, while Timberlane Regional High School was 22-2. The wrestlers battled back and forth the entire night, but the Owls came out on top against the Crimson Tide, 44-27.
The matches started with the 144-pound wrestlers, and Concord quickly took the lead after Jaxon Carter put Jackson Lee into a quick pin via cradle. Daniel Sheehan in the 150 for Concord then pinned Gavin Oljey.

Timberlane then took the next two: Ryan Sigillo in the 157 pinned Davien Dionne, while Jason O’Brien in the 165 beat Ryley Holt by tech fall, 15-0. Maximus Chung of Concord won the 175 bout, 4-1, against Colton Seuss, giving Concord a 15-11 lead.
Reid Robinson of Timberlane then pinned Jakob Manseau of Concord in the 190, giving Timberlane the lead, 16-15. Isaiah Puckett of Concord got the lead back after beating Kyle Lindblad, 9-7, in the 215. Wayne Guiterrez Sakakeeny of Concord then pinned Alexander Hammond in the 285, giving Concord a 24-17 lead.

Timberlane, however, took the next four bouts: Matthew Boucher pinned Biswas Darji in the 106, Zachary Patti pinned Carter Buxton in the 113, Ethan Bilobram beat Khai Jawitz in the 120 by major decision, 11-0, and Scott Patti beat Dominic Schinella by tech fall, 16-0.
Owen Gregg of Concord beat Peter Morrissey, 6-0, in the 132. Timberlane’s Joseph Consalvo then pinned Ramon Reynolds in the 138.

Timberlane junior varsity wrestlers also won seven of nine bouts on Wednesday night.
Concord and other New Hampshire wrestlers now move on to the postseason.
Junior varsity wrestlers from around the Granite State will compete at JV States at Timberlane Regional High School on Saturday. Bouts begin at 9 a.m.
On Feb. 21, Division I wrestlers will compete in Londonderry, while Division II will have matches in Goffstown, and Division III will wrestle at Contoocook Valley Regional High School.
At 3 p.m. on Feb. 27, the Girls Meet of Champions will be held at Pinkerton Academy in Derry.
