Concord Man Indicted On Arson, Animal Cruelty Charges: Court

Plus: Webster woman indicted on drug charges; indictment handed down in Dunbarton burglary case; Pembroke man indicted on meth sale charge.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Jacob Toenah, 41, of Old Suncook Road in Concord on a felony insurance fraud charge. He is accused of defrauding Liberty Mutual on Aug. 17, 2019, in Concord while claiming to have been in a motor vehicle accident on Aug. 16, the day after purchasing an automobile insurance policy, when the accident occurred on Aug. 8. The value of the payment was more than $1,500.

Richard Valentin aka Richard Valentine, 45, of Manchester, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He is accused of stealing merchandise from Kmart in Hooksett on Dec. 18, 2019, after twice before being convicted of theft related offenses.

David Vega, 35, of Nashua, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized taking charges, both felonies. He is accused of stealing merchandise from Kmart in Hooksett on Dec. 18, 2019, after twice before being convicted of theft related offenses.

Christopher M. Vincent, 42, homeless in Concord on a felony arson charge and a misdemeanor cruelty to animals charge. He is accused of starting a fire in a chicken shed on River Road in Concord on April 1, 2018.

Kerry Whittier, 57, homeless in Concord on a felony burglary charge. He is accused of entering a home on Gile Road in Dunbarton on Feb. 21.

Daniel Yoder, 57, of Deerfield Court in Rochester on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He is accused of stealing more than $1,500 from the American Legion in Concord between Jan. 1, 2017, and July 15, 2019.

James Zimont, 37, of Middle Street in Pembroke on a felony sale of meth charge on Nov. 18, 2019, on Manchester Street in Concord.
