Rodney J. Moody, 45, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:09 a.m. on May 19, for criminal trespass. An officer driving on South Main Street saw Moody allegedly standing outside of the McDonald’s Restaurant and he knew from previously interaction with Moody that he had a no trespass order for the property. The officer asked dispatch to double-check that the no trespass order was valid and it was. The officer and another officer that arrived at the scene spoke with Moody about the order and he reportedly said it was a while back. The reporting officer checked with the on-duty manager who stated that Moody was not given permission to come back on the property so he was arrested.

Herbert F. Holland, 43, a homeless man now located in Pittsfield, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. on May 13, for indecent exposure, criminal threatening, and resisting arrest or detention. Officers were sent to Concord Hospital to take Holland into protective custody due to an exceedingly high alcohol concentration, according to a court affidavit. Hospital staff alleged that he was “difficult and defiant” and admitted himself because “he wanted to hurt a Concord official.” Holland was wrapped in a blanket with his head under it and reportedly refused to take it off so he could be taken into custody. He was repeatedly told that he was not being arrested but was just being taken to county to dry out. Holland allegedly stated, “F--- off, I’m not going anywhere.” The officers repeatedly tried to take him into custody and he allegedly refused but was eventually cuffed. While at headquarters, Holland requested to go to the bathroom and was brought to a rear cell. He reportedly stated that he couldn’t go to the bathroom while people were watching but the officers explained that it was procedure to stand by while prisoners relieved themselves. “I’m going to p--- on you,” Holland allegedly threatened. The officers alleged that Holland then “walked over from the toilet to the bars with his penis exposed and in his hand and stuck his penis and hand through the bars and pointed his penis at their feet.” The officers backed away because they were “afraid that Holland was going to urinate on them.” He was taken to county after reportedly refusing to go through processing.
