Update: Marked and unmarked police cruisers, a command vehicle, and officials wearing gloves were at a business off Hall Street Wednesday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police raided a tech business owned by a convicted thief this morning and took at least one person into custody, according to witnesses. Detectives and officers raided EZ Apple Tech Guys on Hammond Street while police in Manchester also raided the company's Queen City location. Officers were staged outside of the Hammond Street location, which is a few doors down from Hall Street, at around 6 a.m.
Witnesses reported that numerous officers were involved in the raid. At 11:30 a.m., a command vehicle and a number of marked and unmarked police cruisers were at the business. Officers were also seen wearing gloves during the investigation and a large tent was setup in the front yard of the business.
At around 12:40 p.m., an officer at the scene gave a courtesy ride to an individual to the McDonald's Restaurant on South Main Street, according to scanner chatter.

It is unknown whether or not the case is a multi-jurisdictional investigation but it would not be surprising since Perkins had a string of arrests during a multi-community investigation connected to his computer and iPhone repair businesses beginning in 2015. Perkins and an accomplice, Chad Fennessey, who was living in Allenstown at the time, were arrested on receiving stolen property charges nearly four years ago. One of the counts against Perkins reportedly involved a handgun. A tech business location in Goffstown was also raided.
In 2017, Perkins was found guilty by a jury of stealing 26 iPads from the Manchester School District which were found at his South Main Street in Concord business. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison with all but three months suspended. Perkins was also given two years probation upon his release.
In May 2017, Concord police arrested Perkins again on tampering with witnesses and informants involved as well as breach of bail charges.
Perkins appealed the verdict but withdrew the appeal and replaced it with a motion to set aside in April 2018, based on ineffective assistance of counsel, according to documents online. His request was denied in December 2018, in superior court.
According to a guest post in January, Perkins was scheduled to have a hearing of imposition of sentence and had another case scheduled in Merrimack County Superior Court in March of this year.
