Concord, Rochester Men Arrested On Assault Charges: Cop Log

CONCORD, NH — Austin Duquette, born 1999, homeless in Concord received a summons at 5:35 p.m. on July 26, 2020, on an unlawful possession-intoxication charge after an incident on Loudon Road.

Alexander A. Dawson, born 1990, of Concord was arrested at 8 a.m. on July 26, 2020, on a driving under the influence charge after an incident on Manchester Street.

Shane M. Vannest, 30, of Rochester was arrested at 6:50 p.m. on July 24 on a second-degree assault charge after an incident in the Rollins Park area of the city. He's due in Merrimack County Superior Court Sept. 17 for arraignment. Vannest has a number of other conviction on drug possession, aggravated DUI, and other charges in Concord and Northfield.

David Shea, born 1965, of Concord received a summons at 12:03 p.m. on July 22 on a theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charge after an incident between the Merrimack River and Interstate 93.

Brian J. Heselton Jr., 33, of Concord was arrested at 8:23 a.m. on July 21 on a bench warrant and resisting arrest charge. He was arrested after an incident at the Concord Parks and Recreation Department building on Canterbury Road. Previously, according to court documents, Heselton was convicted on drug dealing charges in Manchester in October 2011, burglary in Manchester in April 2013, and burglary in Auburn in January 2014.

Timothy J. O'Brien, born 1989, of Concord was arrested at 12:11 a.m. on July 21 on a felony second-degree assault charge as well as two counts of simple assault and three counts domestic violence-simple assault after an incident on Fisherville Road.

Frank Cedric Chaffin, born 1946, of Pembroke was arrested at 4:35 p.m. on July 20 on an endangering the welfare of a child charge after an incident at Michael's on D'Amante Drive.

Andre Rioux, born 1992, of Concord received a summons at 3:04 a.m. on July 19 on a bench warrant after an incident on Charles Street in Penacook.
