Mass. Drivers, Clocked At 100+ MPH, Charged With DUI: New Hampshire State Police Roundup

Stewartstown man arrested on aggravated felonious sexual assault, strangulation charges; Littleton crash; blotters from around the state.

CONCORD, NH — Two drivers from Massachusetts were arrested after being accused of aggravated drunken driving and driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 93 in Bow on Sunday.

Lionel Desilva, 47, of Merrimac, MA, was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on I-93 after being accused of driving 100 mph. After an investigation, he was charged with aggravated driving under the influence. Desilva was processed, released on personal recognizance, and is due on Concord District Court at a future date.

Later in the shift, around 3:15 a.m., the same trooper was monitoring traffic on I-93 in Bow when they clocked another vehicle driving 120 mph. The vehicle was stopped and Jacob Hulsoor, 25, of Dorchester, MA, was arrested on an aggravated driving under the influence charge. He was also processed, released, and is due in Concord District Court at a later date.

NH Man Arrested On Sexual Assault Charges

A man from Stewartstown was arrested on felony charges last week after a state police investigation.

Eliseo Ramirez, 38, of Stewartstown was arrested Tuesday on aggravated felonious sexual assault, false imprisonment, and two second-degree assault-strangulation charges. He was held on preventative detention in the Coos County Jail and arraigned on Wednesday.

Crash Reported In Littleton

State troopers are investigating a crash in Littleton on Tuesday.

Around 2 p.m., state police, Littleton police, and fire and rescue teams were sent to Interstate 93 north just beyond the Exit 42 onramp. When they arrived, they found a 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck had crashed into a 2016 Honda Accord.

“The driver of the Accord received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Littleton Hospital,” Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the state police, said. “Northbound traffic on I-93 was shut down for approximately 30 minutes as responders investigated the crash.”

Along with police and EMTs, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.

John Joseph Casazza, 29, of Manchester was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on Nov. 6 on a reckless operation charge in Manchester.

Anthony Serrano, 34, of Hudson was arrested on a warrant and a driving after revocation or suspension charge at 12:34 a.m. on Nov. 6.

Nicklaus Halloran, 24, of Methuen, MA, was arrested on a warrant at 10:52 p.m. on Nov. 2. He was arrested after an incident in Nashua.
