NHSP: Tilton Man Caught Going 109 mph on I-93
Former Concord resident Joshua Lessard was arrested for reckless driving in Canterbury after a traffic stop on Nov. 24.

The New Hampshire State Police Department is continuing its special enforcement unit efforts on Granite State highways and the work appears to be continuing to show results.
The latest was the arrest of Joshua Lessard, 22, of Tilton, who was arrested at around 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 24, 2015, for reckless driving.

State police allegedly clocked Lessard driving southbound on I-93 in a 1994 Honda Prelude going 109 mph in a 70 zone, according to a press statement, after seeing the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed via aircraft.

“The vehicle was passing in both the right and left lanes,” according to Sgt. Patrick Curran of the NHSP.
A trooper on the ground was radioed from the air and the Honda was pulled over in Canterbury. Lessard was arrested and charged. He’s due in Concord District Court on Jan. 8, 2016.
This isn’t Lessard’s first time getting arrested, according to online reports.
Back in February 2013, he was arrested for simple assault and criminal threatening, after an incident at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street between himself, his girlfriend, and another man.
In August 2014, he was arrested for driving after revocation or suspension after being stopped on South Main Street. Lessard’s license was suspended in July 2013, according to police.
