Penacook Man Indicted on Knife Threat Charges: Roundup

Mass. felon indicted on gun, drug charges, Northfield man allegedly took control of a stolen truck, and Boscawen man indicted for ID fraud.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Joseph Nelson, 29, of Pine Ridge Road in Burlington, MA, for felony possession of a controlled drug-Alprazolam, felon in possession of a deadly weapon, and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription-Alprazolam. On May 12, 2016, in Epsom, he was allegedly in possession of a rifle and the drugs. He was previously convicted of possession in Rockingham County.

Zachary Pantaleo, 31, of Pearl Street in Franklin, for robbery, theft by unauthorized taking, conspiracy to commit theft by unauthorized taking, and conspiracy to commit robbery, all felonies. On May 12, 2016, in Franklin, he allegedly worked in concert with Anthony Deforge, Shane Goss, and Matthew Rollins to steal a bank cash bag from a woman.

Sadie Pelkey, 29, of Oak Hill Drive in Loudon, for felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine and hindering apprehension of prosecution, allegedly on May 1, 2016, in Hooksett.

Matthew Perry, 34, of Summer Street in Penacook, for attempted first-degree assault and criminal threatening, both felonies, as well as two counts of domestic violence. On June 10, 2016, he allegedly attempted to stab and threatened to stab another man in Concord. Perry also allegedly punched an intimate female partner in the mouth and slapped her face.

Charmine Preston, 32, of Brook Street in Derry, for two felony counts of delivery of articles prohibited-cocaine, fentanyl. On June 23, 2016, in Boscawen, she allegedly brought fentanyl into the Merrimack County House of Corrections in an effort to bring the drugs to an inmate, according to the indictment.

Brandon Prue, 34, of Oak Hill Road in Northfield, for felony receiving stolen property and two counts of operating after suspension. On June 23, 2016, he allegedly took control of a stolen dump truck in Northfield. Prue has previously been convicted of theft by deception in Concord in January 2015 and Portsmouth in March 2015. He was previously convicted of operating after revocation or suspension in Laconia in December 201 and May 2016.

Kyle Putnam, 33, currently incarcerated, for forgery, theft of services, and two counts identity fraud, all felonies. In September 2015, he allegedly posed as his brother to rent a room at the Best Western hotel in Concord to avoid outstanding arrest warrants and avoid financial responsibility for the cost of the room, because he used counterfeit money. Putnam has previously been convicted of theft.
