Alleged Arsonist Arrested for Violation of Probation: Roundup

Plus, Rochester woman arrested for theft, Allenstown woman charged with DUI, and Mass. man fails to appear forgery hearing.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were arrested recently by Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.

Betsy L. Ross, 45, of Winter Street in Rochester, was arrested on April 28, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for VOP on an original charge of theft.

Mark J. Bacon, 32, of Will Drive in Canton, MA, was arrested on April 27, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for failure to appear at a probation hearing on an original charge of forgery.

Jonathan M. Balamotis, 26, pictured, of Pollard Road in Plaistow, was arrested on April 25, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for violation of probation New Hope on an original charge of arson.

Abigail J. Southwick, 31, of River Road in Allenstown, was arrested on April 23, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for failure to appear at the plea-sentencing on an original charge with DUI with serious injury, on a judge’s order to arrest for DUI with serious bodily injury, and on a judge’s order to arrest for DUI impairment.

Jacob G. Brooks, 23, of Spring Hill Tavern Road in Ossipee, was arrested on April 21, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for VOP on an original charge of possession of fentanyl.

Eric S. Fox, 34, of Pinehurst Avenue in Derry, was arrested on April 19, 2017, for contempt capias-marital non-support.

Benjamin M. Bryant, 27, of Taft Street in Salisbury, MA, was arrested on April 17, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for failure to appear at disp on an original charge of shoplifting and on a judge’s order to arrest on a second warrant for bail jumping on an original charge of shoplifting.

Chelsea P. Bennett, 23, of Pembrook Drive in Derry, was arrested on April 17, 2017, on a judge’s order to arrest for failure to appear in drug court on an original charge of possession of fentanyl.
