Alleged Child Rapists, Drug Dealers, Others Indicted: Roundup

Raymond man indicted on strangulation, 15 domestic violence charges; Maine man indicted on OUI, reckless conduct, animal cruelty charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted in March in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Daryl G. Gurley Jr., 23, pictured upper right, of Scobie Pond Road in Derry, on two felony counts of possession of controlled drug-Alprazolam, fentanyl as well as resisting arrest or detention. On Sept. 22, 2016, he refused to be handcuffed after an alleged incident in Derry.

Kyle S. Haggett, 22, pictured upper center, of Drinkwater Road in Exeter, for felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine allegedly on Nov. 5, 2016, in Portsmouth.

Brian Harrington, 36, pictured upper left, of Cape Road in Limington, ME, on two counts of felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, control of premises where drugs are kept, criminal mischief, two counts of resisting arrest or detention, cruelty to animals, disobeying an officer, and aggravated driving or operating under the influence. The charges stem from alleged incidents on Route 101 in Auburn, Brentwood, Candia, Epping, and Raymond, while driving an Isuzu pickup truck as well as kicking a state police cruiser, fleeing from state police, and driving in a reckless manner while his dog was in the pickup truck, according to the indictment.

Charles Harrison, 46, of Generations Drive in Elk Grove, CA, for felony aggravated felonious sexual assault. Between January 2010 and August 2012, in Hampton, he allegedly touched the genitalia of a child under 13 with his genitalia. In August 2016, according to Seacoastonline.com, he was indicted on other charges including three aggravated felonious sexual assault charges, one felonious sexual assault charge, and a single count of attempted felonious sexual assault.

Joseph Hart, 35, pictured lower right, of Milk Street in Westborough, MA, for two felony counts of theft by unauthorized taking as well as conduct after an accident. On Jan. 13, 2017, he allegedly stole a motor vehicle from a Derry residence and crashed a vehicle on Tracy Drive but failed to provide information to police or the victim of the crash.

Kenneth Jefferson, 43, of Lakeview Drive in Raymond, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on four felony counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, two counts of felonious sexual assault, two counts witness tampering, five counts of second-degree assault-domestic violence, all felonies, as well as 18 counts of domestic violence, attempted domestic violence, and criminal threatening. In January 2016, he allegedly raped a girl under 16, threatened her if she spoke to investigators, and assaulted her. In July 2016, he also allegedly strangled and assaulted another child repeatedly and attempted to get that child to not speak about the allegations. On June 18, 2016, he allegedly strangled, assaulted and threatened a woman in the home.

Scott Knowles, 54, pictured lower center, of Lower Collins Street in Seabrook, on two counts of attempted theft by unauthorized taking and possession of a controlled drug-cocaine-subsequent, all felonies, as well as resisting arrest or detention and loitering/prowling. On Dec. 14, 2016, in Seabrook, he allegedly attempted to steal a van while in possession of drugs. He was previously convicted of a controlled drugs charge in the District of Columbia.
