7 From Nashua, Hudson, Manchester Arrested During Granite Shield Operation: Police

Nashua and Hudson officers and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department employees arrested the suspects earlier this month.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police and their law enforcement partners arrested seven people earlier in May on various charges as part of another Operation Granite Shield roundup.

During the week of May 15, police said, officers from Nashua and Hudson, as well as members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, coordinated to arrest the seven people “for various drug crimes — crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses,” Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer for the Nashua Police Department, said.

Jason Cloutier, 45, of Central Street in Manchester on felony criminal liability for sale of a controlled drug-heroin/fentanyl-subsequent charge.

James Dorris, 47, of Gowing Road in Hudson was arrested on a felony failing to comply with a sex offender registration charge.

Shaun Jerome, 45, of no fixed address in Nashua was charged with possession of a controlled drug-heroin/fentanyl.

Sarah Lafond, 33, of Temple Street in Nashua was arrested on a felony sale of a controlled drug-heroin/fentanyl charge-subsequent charge.

Gregory Levesque, 34, of Concord Street in Nashua was arrested on a warrant for criminal mischief, issued by the Nashua Police Department, and an operating after revocation or suspension charge.

James Mackerchar, 49, of Temple Street in Nashua was arrested on three counts of sale of a controlled drug-heroin/fentanyl, sale of methamphetamine, possession of heroin/fentanyl with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine charges, all felonies, as well as dealing in or possession prescription medication charge. He was arrested after a search warrant of his apartment.

“All of Mackerchar’s drug charges are subsequent offenses as he has a prior conviction for drug-related crimes in the state of New Hampshire,” Cinelli said.

Dorian Phoenix, 39, of Shelley Drive in Hudson was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge.

Cloutier and Phoenix were held pending arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Dorris, Jerome, and Lafond were released on personal recognizance pending arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. Levesque was released on personal recognizance and is due in Nashua District Court later. Mackerchar was released on cash bail and will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South later.
