Three Arrested During Salem Sobriety Checkpoint
NHSP, local police arrest two for DWI and one for possession this morning.

SALEM, NH — New Hampshire State Police and Salem Police held a sobriety checkpoint last night on Route 28 which led to the arrest of three people, according to a press statement.
Arrested were:
- Michael Gomez, 26, from Salem for DWI.
- Ingrid Bochman, 62, from Salem for DWI.
- Luis Colon, 31, from Lawrence, MA, for possession of a controlled drug.

During the checkpoint, 245 vehicles and operators were screened, according to Sgt. Steve Callinan of the NHSP.

“The New Hampshire State Police, Colonel Robert Quinn and the Salem Police Chief Paul Donovan as well as the officers of their departments consider the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers to be a top priority,” according to Callinan. “They will continue to collaborate and utilize sobriety checkpoints and other means to deter, detect and remove impaired drivers from New Hampshire's roadways.”
