Nor'easter to Bring Heavy Rain, Wind to East Hampton
National Weather Service issues hazardous weather outlook.

A nor’easter may dump three inches of rain on Long Island starting Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region that warns of “moderate coastal flooding” from the storm, which will also bring strong winds to the island.

A slow moving coastal storm will affect the region Monday night through Tuesday night with heavy rain and strong winds. Although there is still some uncertainty on timing...intensity...And track of this low pressure system...There is a low potential for moderate coastal flooding during the times of high tide Monday morning and tuesday morning. In addition...A prolonged period of moderate to high easterly swells and high storm tides through mid week will likely cause significant beach erosion and likely wash-over issues at the barrier beaches.

- Tonight- Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. Blustery, with a north wind around 21 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
- Monday- A slight chance of snow and freezing rain before noon, then a chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. Northeast wind 14 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Monday Night- Rain likely, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 46 by 1am. Wind chill values between 30 and 35. Breezy, with a northeast wind 13 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Tuesday- Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 53. Windy, with a northeast wind 23 to 29 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
- Tuesday Night- Rain likely before midnight, then a chance of showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. Breezy, with a north wind 16 to 25 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
