Dehydrated, Injured Dog Found: Police
Police are seeking information on an injured dog believed to have been shot with a projectile and abandoned in the Tysons area. Officers located the female dog Sunday in the 8000 block of Skokie Lane. The stray dog appeared dehydrated and weakened.
City No. 2 On Money's 50 Top Places To Live
A northern Virginia city is No. 2 in Money magazine's 50 Best Places to Live 2018, a list compiled in conjunction with Realtor.com. According to the publication, the spots "combine economic growth, affordability and quality of life."

Man Rubs Produce On Buttocks In Grocery Store: Police
A man who picked up produce, pulled down his pants, allegedly rubbed the produce on his buttocks and then put it back on the shelf in a Giant Food at 10100 Dumfries Road was arrested late Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Giant Employee Assaulted By Shoplifters: Police
Police are searching for two suspects after an assault and shoplifting incident at Giant Food on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

100 Best Public Elementary Schools In Virginia 2019 List
While Virginia leaders have sparred over school names and overall funding for school budgets, the Commonwealth continues to have a reputation of supporting its public school systems. Similar to the ranking of the state's best high schools, Arlington, Alexandria and Fairfax County schools ruled the top of the list.
Mansion Murders: Housekeeper's Husband Says He Heard Something
The husband of the Savopoulos family housekeeper, Vera Figueroa, testified at the trial of Daron Wint, the man accused of killing Figueroa and the Savopoulos family after taking them hostage in a wealthy D.C. neighborhood in 2015. Bernardo Alfaro said he had a bad feeling when he returned home from his night shift and found that his wife still wasn't home.
