Arrest Made In Fort Hunt Park Sexual Assault: Police

FORT HUNT, VA—U.S. Park Police have arrested and charged a man with sexually assaulting a minor in Fort Hunt Park earlier in June.

After receiving a warrant, officers arrested Dennis Barrahona-Urritia, 20, of Alexandria on June 19, police announced Tuesday. Two officers were injured when the suspect resisted arrest.

Police were called to Fort Hunt Park around 9:30 a.m on June 13. The suspect fled and was not found during an immediate search.

The victim and suspect reportedly know each other. The investigation continues.
