Fort Belvoir Helicopter Crash Victims Identified
BREAKING: The Fort Belvoir military helicopter that crashed in Maryland has left one dead and two in critical condition

FORT BELVOIR, VA -- Victims of Monday's Fort Belvoir military helicopter crash in Maryland have been identified.
Spc. Jeremy Darrell Tomlin, 22, originally of Chapel Hill, N.C. was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a statement the U.S. Army Military District of Washington provided to the Associated Press.
The other two victims were injured. Chief Warrant Officer Christopher Nicholas and Capt. Terikazu Onoda are in critical condition at a Baltimore hospital, according to the Army. All three were stationed at the Fort Belvoir military base.

Army officials are on the scene investigating the cause of the crash, the AP reported. The helicopter crashed Monday on a golf course 61 miles south of Washington in St. Mary's County, Md.
A witness told the Washington Post that the helicopter looked like it had taken a nosedive, and the cockpit was smashed.
