Can Diet Coke Be Used as a Weapon at 30,000 Feet?
- Milt Miller: why is it these people make an issue out of everything? flight attendants often open cans of soda/beer to make sure they don’t spray all over due to being shook up in flight. its not a big deal.
- Festus McMoron: most intelligent post on this subject. this lady is making a mountain out of a molehill. if you go thru life nit-picking at every little issue, i feel sorry for you. you have a pretty sorry life. now watch the weirdos at aclu get involved.
- ikb555: I agree when people tell me to shut the f--- up when I ask for a Diet Coke just because I am Muslim, I just crawl into my hole and walk away like the inferior citizen I’m told to be. That would just be normal.

- Sharon: I am horrified at the treatment Tahera Ahmad received. I can’t do anything about the ignorant and boorish passenger, but I can give notice to United that, unless they produce a quick and sufficient apology (including some sanction for the rude and bigoted flight attendant) I will be looking for friendlier skies next time I fly.
