Truck Crashes Into Massive Sinkhole In Bartow County

The driver of a pickup truck suffered minor injuries after crashing into the massive sinkhole that's closed a segment of Tanyard Creek Road in southern Bartow County. The Georgia State Patrol says the driver told troopers he did not see the three barricades while traveling on Tanyard Creek Road from Glade Road.

Accused Drug Dealer Sold Heroin To Fatal Overdose Victim: Feds

An Atlanta man has been indicted on federal charges of selling heroin to a person who subsequently died from an overdose on the drug. The indictment against Donquell Weddington includes three counts of distributing heroin and cocaine in 2017 and 2018.

Update: Man Barricaded In McDonald's Bathroom Identified

The man who barricaded himself in a McDonald's bathroom in Lawrenceville Tuesday has been identified. Police say that Derrick Hall, 36, of Lawrenceville is well known to officers and has been arrested multiple times in Gwinnett County.
