Traffic on 135th Street from Belmont to Macon will be closed to thru traffic.
135th will be closed between Hemlock and Hickory from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Occasional lane closures will continue as miscellaneous items on the project are completed.
The project should wrap up this fall.
The crash happened Friday afternoon at Weber and Highpoint.
The Village advised avoiding the area and finding another route to your destination.
The project in Romeoville includes resurfacing and installing ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps.
The work should take one month to complete.
Anyone who uses Airport Road to travel into Plainfield will need to reroute.
All the ramps will not be closed at the same time, so detoured travel will be allowed.
