Joshua Ryan Wilson, 21, of Odd Fellows Avenue in Concord was arrested at 3:21 p.m. on May 17 on a felony count of acts prohibited-intent to distribute-methamphetamine and a resisting arrest or detention charge. While working in an undercover capacity, something they had been doing since mid-March, an officer reported in an affidavit about reaching out to Wilson concerning acquiring about $200 worth of methamphetamine. Wilson, the officer said, admitted to a slang term that he believed to mean he was smoking methamphetamine. Using Facebook instant messenger, they agreed to meet at the Shell gas station at Gully Hill on Loudon Road, an affidavit said. A detective in an undercover vehicle was nearby, the report said. When Wilson arrived, police, including the reporting officer, approached him but they knew he might resist due to prior interactions with him, the officer wrote. They attempted to detain him for questioning and accused him of resisting and ignoring demands to cease resisting. Wilson was then taken to the ground, sustaining “minor injuries” to his knees, and cuffed, an affidavit stated. During a search, an officer accused him of being in possession of a scale, meth pipe, and several small pills. The drugs were field-tested and the test came across positive for being meth. He was arrested after an incident at the Shell gas station on Loudon Road at Gully Hill. Wilson was scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court on May 26.
