She was arrested again at 9:30 a.m. on March 7 on a possession of a controlled drug charge after an incident on Manchester Street. In the March 6 incident, officers were sent to the manufactured home park near the city's line with Pembroke for a complaint about a woman inside of a home "breaking things." Officers arrived and knew the complainant from "several similar incidents." He accused Brien of "acting crazy, yelling, screaming about nonsense," "destroying" his house, and locking him out. They then went to speak with Brien — who they also knew from "numerous law enforcement contacts." Initially, the officer wrote, she refused to open the door but eventually did and "appeared very agitated," yelling and later, she attempted to shut the door. Brien was accused of grabbing a tabletop and holding it up to the officers. She was ordered to lower the tabletop and lay down on the floor, which she initially did, but then, flailed her arms on the ground to avoid being cuffed, an affidavit stated. Eventually, they were able to get her into handcuffs and took her outside, the report said, and while doing so, she kicked the officers and knocked over a ceramic mug. The man accused her of damaging a table, birdcage, coffee mugs, and other items all valued at around $215. Brien was taken straight to county. On the drug charge, she is due back in Merrimack County Superior Court on May 21 for a dispositional conference.
