Concord Police Log: Theft of 58 Cent Donut Lands Elderly Man in Court

Plus, woman cited for peddling ice cream without a permit, man arrested for loitering on downtown fire escape, warrant, and driving charges.

Lacey M. Roy, 21, of Chandler Street in Boscawen, was arrested at 3:22 a.m. on July 17, 2015, on nine counts of fraudulent use of credit card from June 7, and June 8, 2015, at Cumberland Farms, Walmart, Family Dollar, Hess, CVS, and the Mobil Xtramart. Officers were sent to the Manchester Street Laundromat for a report of a stolen vehicle. The calling party – Roy – had an active warrant, according to dispatch. Roy reportedly told officers she was sleeping at another person’s home when she heard her car door close and realized that her keys were missing. She reportedly told officers that she didn’t give anyone permission to take the vehicle. Another officer later found the vehicle at the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street. Roy was arrested and is due in court on Aug. 24.

David W. Partridge, 19, of Pleasant Vallie Drive in Belmont, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. on July 16, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from July 9, 2015, for nonappearance in court on a simple assault charge, $500 cash bail. An officer was sent to Union Street for a possible medical issue involving a man that was unconscious. A witness, Partridge, stated that he saw the man fall to the ground. Partridge, according to dispatch, had the active warrant and he was arrested and held.

Tami J. Hutchins, 43, of Hall Street in Concord, was arrested at 7:12 p.m. on July 15, for driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration after a motor vehicle stop on Thompson Street between South State and South Main. Hutchins’ license was suspended the day before for cancellation of insurance. She’s due in court on Aug. 24.

Lester A Kurzban, 82, of Pleasant Hill Road in Deerfield, received a summons at 1:12 p.m. on July 14, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. An officer was sent to the Walmart on Loudon Road for a report of a man shoplifting. The asset protection employee alleged that Kurzban had “on previous occasions stolen (things) from the store,” according to the report, including gum and a muffin. In this incident, Kurzban purchased some medication and then allegedly removed a donut from the bakery and ate it. He left the store reportedly without paying for the 58-cent donut. The officer noted that he had about $10 in his pocket. Kurzban was given a summons and is due in court on Aug. 17.

Erik C. Weber, 22, of Warren Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. on June 5, for loitering. An officer driving on Dubois Avenue observed two subjects in the rear of one of the buildings with one man allegedly at the top of a stairwell leading to the second floor of a building on North Main Street. When the officer drove over to find out what was going on, the man on the stairs, later identified as Weber, reportedly began walking down the stairs. Both men allegedly denied having identification and Weber allegedly couldn’t explain what he was doing on the fire escape. He allegedly didn’t see the “no trespassing” sign at the base of the stairs, according to the report. “Nothing about Weber’s story made sense and the story continued to change,” the officer alleged. After allegedly finding two empty beer bottles in his backpack and still not having an explanation for being on the fire escape, he was arrested.

Alfred E. Moore, 32, of Monadnock Highway in Swanzey, was arrested at 7:25 a.m. on May 29, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop for uninspected vehicle at Water and Hall streets. Moore’s license was suspended in December 2012 out of Jaffrey District Court. He was also convicted at that time of operating after suspension.

Venture Dionne, 23, of Knox Road in Bow, was arrested at 2:58 p.m. on May 28, for possession of drugs, possession of controlled drugs, and obedience to crossing guards after a traffic stop on Warren Street where a driver in a Chevrolet allegedly didn’t stop for crossing guard. The officer reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the car and Dionne allegedly admitted to “smoking a bowl” earlier. After some back and forth about a consent search, Dionne allegedly handed over a half-ounce baggie of marijuana to the officer and he was arrested.

Debbie L. Gilmore, 45, of South State Street in Concord, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. on May 24, for violation of a protective order; penalty. Officers were sent to South State Street for a report that Gilmore was violating a stalking order by being in the same apartment building as another woman. The order was served to Gilmore five days before and it would require her to vacate her apartment, which was 50 feet away from the victim, according to the report. At the time, according to the report, Gilmore was allegedly told that she would not be allowed in her apartment until the order was lifted or amended. The officers went to speak to Gilmore who was reportedly gathering up belongings and allegedly stated she knew she was violating the protective order. She was arrested and held without bail.

Jordan N. Agoubi, 25, of Heritage Drive in Allenstown, received a summons at 8:50 a.m. on May 24, for a motor license required violation after a traffic stop on Loudon Road. Police received a report of a motorcyclist dumping his bike at I-393 and North Main Street after reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed. An officer headed over to I-393 and caught up with the motorcyclist turning off East Side Drive onto Loudon Road and the driver, Agoubi, was cited for not having a license.

Melissa L. Moscaritolo, 38, of Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen, received a summons at 8:17 p.m. on May 23, for operating without a valid license and defective taillight after a traffic stop on Loudon Road. Her license expired in March so she was given a summons.

Joyce Chartrand, 47, of Bonny Street in Nashua, received a summons at 10:20 a.m. on May 23, for peddling goods without a license after allegedly selling ice cream out of a truck at Dillon Field on Liberty Street. She had a New Hampshire peddler’s license and one from Groton, MA, but not New Hampshire, according to the report.

David Ogden, 34, of Gamache Street in Manchester, received a summons at 7:33 a.m. on May 23, for operating without a valid license and speeding after a motor vehicle stop on Manchester Street for speeding (52 mph in a 30 zone). His license expired in May so he was issued a summons.
