Nashua Drug Sweep: 3 Arrested In 'Granite Shield'

The latest Nashua police drug sweep resulted in three arrests during "Operation Granite Shield," police announced Friday.

NASHUA, NH — Three suspects were arrested in the latest Nashua drug sweep, police announced Friday. The three suspects were charged with crimes allegedly involving cocaine and oxycodone. Police said the arrests were part of a drug enforcement initiative named "Operation Granite Shield."

It was the 21st drug sweep in Nashua so far this year. A total of 124 suspects have been arrested in those sweeps. The latest sweep resulted in "individuals ... arrested for various drug crimes, and various crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity," Nashua police Capt. These are the three suspects arrested Thursday:

Caitlin Taylor, 28, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of selling crack cocaine and resisting arrest. She was held on $50,000 bail.

Christopher Chandonnais, 25, of Manchester, was charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute and oxycodone possession with intent to distribute. Police said they found $11,138 in cash on his person during his arrest. He was held on $150,000 bail.

Kyle Goldberg, 29, of Nashua, was charged with possession of cocaine, oxycodone and suboxone. He was held on $15,000 bail.

All suspects will be arraigned Friday in Nashua District Court. Testaverde said anyone with information about illegal drug activity in the city should contact the Nashua police narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
