Nashua Drug Sweep: 3 Arrested In 'Granite Shield'

Police said three Nashua suspects — David Le, Damien Martini and Jessica Kin — were arrested in an "Operation Granite Shield" drug sweep.

NASHUA, NH — Three suspects were arrested Thursday in the latest Nashua drug sweep, police said. The suspects were charged with crimes involving heroin and marijuana, according to Nashua police Capt. James Testaverde. The drug sweep was part of Nashua police's ongoing "Operation Granite Shield," a state-funded initiative targeting the state's opioid distribution network.

It was the 22nd drug sweep in Nashua so far this year. A total of 127 suspects have been arrested in those sweeps. The latest sweep resulted in "individuals ... arrested for various drug crimes, and various crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity," Testaverde said in a statement.

  • David Le, 32, of Nashua, was charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute. Police said they found $26,810 his residence during a search. He was held on $30,000 bail.
  • Damien Martini, 34, of Nashua, was charged with selling heroin (second offense) and possession of heroin (second offense). Police said they found him with 10 grams of heroin. He was held on $50,000 bail and police said he faces enhanced penalties for previous drug convictions.
  • Jessica King, 32, of Nashua, was charged with three counts of selling heroin. She was held on $75,000 bail.

All suspects were scheduled for arraignments Friday in Nashua District Court.
