Nashua Police Round Up 9 During Early June Substance Abuse Reduction Initiative

Between June 8 and June 12, nine people were arrested on either drug sales or drug possession charges by police in the Gate City.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police reported this week that nine people were arrested during a drug enforcement effort carried out from June 8 through June 12.

According to police, the arrests were made by members of the department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem-Oriented Policing Unit. Police said the nine people were arrested for various drug crimes during the operation.

The department said officers were acting under the Substance Abuse Reduction Initiative, with police also describing the arrests as involving crimes “frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses.”

Justin Daisey, 34, pictured upper left, on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, sale of a controlled drug-subsequent, and possession of a controlled drug-subsequent.

Danielle Evans, 33, upper center, on criminal trespass and two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent offense.

Shariff Johnson, 47, upper right, on stalking-domestic violence and breach of bail as well as felony counts of sale of a controlled drug-subsequent, convicted felons, two felony counts of falsifying physical evidence, and three felony counts of possession with intent to distribute.

Mariah Peters, 27, left middle, on a felony count of sale of a controlled drug.

Ross Rainey, 40, center middle, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent.

Robert Ruggiero, 32, middle right, on resisting arrest or detention and a felony count of sale of a controlled drug.

Ryan Sinclair, 34, lower left, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent.

Trevor Smith, 35, lower center, on two felony counts of sale of a controlled drug-subsequent offense.

Denielle Thibeault, 48, lower right, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug.

Daisey, Evans, Johnson, and Ruggiero were held on preventative detention.

Peters, Rainey, Sinclair, and Thibeault were released on personal recognizance and are due in Hills South for arraignment at a future date.

Smith was held on $400 cash bail pending arraignment at Hills South.
