Man Stabs Puppy Repeatedly In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man repeatedly stabbed a puppy Thursday morning at a home in the 13300 block of Paramount Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Alex Adolpho Mendez, 19, of 26 State Shop Road in Stafford, was arrested and charged with felony cruelty. He's being held without bond.

Lego Scam at Walmart Uncovered In Stafford: Police

STAFFORD, VA—A man who repeatedly snookered a Walmart on Garrisonville Road by receiving refunds for Lego block sets that weren't the same ones he bought from the store's website was arrested Friday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Christopher Lee Edward Taylor, 30, was charged with three felony counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.
