Pilot Dies In Glider Plane Crash: Police
A plane crashed near the Front Royal-Warren County Aiport Sunday afternoon, killing the pilot, according to the police.

Video: Drivers Witness South Alex Development Fire From Route 1
Drivers on Richmond Highway were close witnesses of Saturday's massive four-alarm fire that destroyed some buildings at the South Alex development. In a video seen on the Neighbors app, a driver recorded the huge cloud of smoke billowing from the Groveton development under construction at Richmond Highway and Kings Highway.
Public Works Crews Continue Tornado Cleanup
Work crews and residents spent the weekend cleaning up from Friday morning's tornado that knocked down trees, doing most of its damage in the northeast part of the town. The tornado, measured as an EF-0, did not cause any injuries, according to officials.

DC Children Under 5 At Risk Of Being Undercounted In 2020 Census
Children under the age of 5 living in Washington, D.C., are at risk of being undercounted in the U.S. Census Bureau's 2020 decennial count, according to a new report. A significant undercount could hurt how much federal funding D.C. would receive for things like Head Start and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistant Program (SNAP).
