An earthquake hit Loudoun County Thursday evening, and residents from northern Virginia said they felt it. The magnitude 1.7 earthquake occurred at 11:23 p.m. about 1.2 miles northeast of Landsdowne, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Residents Sue Over Lighting At Stadium: Report
A group of Alexandria residents are suing over plans to install lighting at T.C. Williams High School's Parker-Gray Stadium. The residents, who were displaced by the stadium in exchange for new homes, were promised there would not be lights at the stadium.
