Confederate Flags Covered With Cotton Found At American University
Ten Confederate flag fliers with cotton stalks taped to them were found hanging in buildings at American University Tuesday night, the same night as a presentation about the new anti-racist center on campus was held, according to the online campus newspaper. The signs had the phrases “Huzzah for Dixie” and “I wish I was in the Land of Cotton.”

Cemetery Vandalized In Fredericksburg: Police
Fredericksburg Police say the groundskeeper at Masonic Cemetery, 902 Charles Street, reported that an unknown person had removed markers from the ground. One of the markers was reportedly damaged.
