A domestic dispute between a couple led to a confrontation with police in Libertyville early Sunday morning, according to the Libertyville Police Department. Both the boyfriend and girlfriend were arrested.

The community is stepping up to help a local family that has seen its fair share of trials and tribulations in recent years. Most recently, they lost their family farm and several animals to severe flooding. Angela Komarov said her father was diagnosed with ALS two months after purchasing the farm for his family, which includes Angela and her eight brothers and sisters and her 25 nieces and nephews, according to a GoFundMe page set up to help raise money for the family.

Three employees at three different Libertyville massage parlors were arrested in recent weeks on prostitution charges following a lengthy investigation by the Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group and the Libertyville Police Department.
Wanted Man Leaves Hospital In Just His Hospital Gown: Police
A 36-year-old Round Lake Beach man wanted on a warrant left Condell Medical Center in just his hospital gown last month. Matthew D. Brechel, of 521 E. Clarendon Drive, was originally brought to the hospital by the Lake County Sheriff's Office after complaining of chest pain. Police were called back to the hospital, at 801 South Milwaukee Ave., at 5:40 p.m. on Aug. 15 after the man, who was wanted on an active warrant for failure to appear on a retail theft charge, left the medical facility, according to a Libertyville Police Department report.
Man Caught With Pants Down Arrested for Disorderly Conduct: Police
A man who was spotted with his pants down and sitting on a outdoor bench in Libertyville now faces a disorderly conduct charge, police said. Police were called to the 700 block of North Milwaukee Avenue on May 28 after a complaint about the person who had his "pants dropped to his ankles," according to a Libertyville Police Department report. Police found the man who has been identified as Randy B. Foss, 62.
