NH Man Indicted On Human Trafficking Charges: Roundup

Plus, Concord man indicted after drug arrest in Bedford, Boscawen woman indicted on cellphone theft charge, alleged strangler also indicted.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North in November 2017.

Steven Acorn, 47, lower left, of Laurel Street in Manchester, for felony controlled drug acts; acts prohibited-fentanyl allegedly on Oct. 11, 2017, in Manchester.

Jesus Alicea, 35, of Orange Street in Manchester, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on three felony counts of sale of a controlled drug-crack cocaine allegedly on Oct. 16, 2017, in Manchester.

Christopher Allen, 33, of West Brook Street in Manchester, for felony second-degree assault for allegedly strangling another person on Aug. 10, 2017, in Manchester.

Tina Ano, 38, of Honey Drive in Boscawen, for felony theft by unauthorized taking – more than $1,501+ – allegedly involving several cellphones from the Sprint location on Vinton Street in Manchester on July 8, 2017.

Suellen A. Castaneda, 53, of Huse Road in Manchester, for felony issuing bad checks – due to insufficient funds – allegedly at a Candia Road in Manchester auto business on March 2, 2017.

Heather Austin, 28, upper left, of Jason Drive in Goffstown, on two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine, fentanyl allegedly on Oct. 9, 2017, in Manchester.

April Baillargeon, 42, of South Main Street in Manchester, for felony possession of a controlled drug-crack cocaine allegedly on Aug. 13, 2017, in Manchester.

Delbert Baker, 40, of Alice Drive in Concord, on two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine, Buprenorphine allegedly on Sept. 20, 2017, in Bedford.

Courtney Barrett, 46, right, of King Street in Manchester, on three counts of trafficking in persons, three counts of conspiracy to commit trafficking in persons, and four counts of tampering with witnesses and informants. Between Jan. 1, 2016, and Aug. 22, 2017, he allegedly worked in concert with Brandon Griffin, Charles Morrison, and/or others to knowingly recruit, entice, harbor, transport, another knowing or believing that a woman would likely be the subject of trafficking and reportedly caused her to believe that if she did not perform services – selling controlled substances and commercial sex acts – that she would suffer serious harm. The indictment alleged that Barrett also threatened to strike her with a belt.
