Concord Police Log: Man with Suspended License Allegedly Won't Stop Driving
Post-wedding drive leads to DWI charge, man allegedly strikes wife for "being disrespectful," and tattoo used to ID attempted thief.

James L.E. Weatherbee, 20, pictured, of Baker Street in Boscawen, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. on Aug. 24, 2015, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and default or breach of bail conditions. While driving on Christian Avenue near the Concord Gardens, an officer noticed a Mazda 626 with a defective headlight and stopped the vehicle. The operator, Weatherbee, reportedly stated that he was getting a hard time at home so he went out for a drive. He reportedly told police that he left his license and registration at home. A check though yielded a suspended license. Another officer told the first officer that Weatherbee was out on bail from an August incident where passengers in his car had drugs and he was arrested on driving charges. He was arrested three times in one week in January 2015, and April 2015 on bench warrants for conduct after an accident, nonappearance in court, and alcohol possession charges, according to online reports. The report noted that his license was suspended in December 2012. He was also found guilty of operating after suspension in June 2015. Weatherbee was arrested also given a summons for the defective headlight.

Kassandra A. Cassidy-Silva, 19, of Pillsbury Street in Georgetown, MA, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. on Aug. 26, for theft by deception and two counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from the Sam’s Club on Sheep Davis Road on May 17, June 21, and June 25, 2015.

Ashley Hodgdon, 24, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 10:33 a.m. on Aug. 26, for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop on South Main Street for crossing over a double yellow line. The woman, Hodgdon, reportedly told the officer that she didn’t have a license. A check yielded a previous operating without a valid license conviction from March 2012 and she was arrested.
Jay Flanders, 40, of Glen Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:44 p.m. on Aug. 24, on criminal trespass and attempt to commit theft from a vehicle charges. While on bike patrol, officers were called to the Granite Group on Storrs Street for a report of a shirtless man rifling through a Jeep. When the first officer arrived, the man, later identified as Flanders, allegedly fled the area. Officers split up and began searching for him and later caught up with Flanders behind the liquor warehouse. The officers checked a knapsack that he reportedly had and found some technology items and tampons, according to the report, something the officers found to be odd. He reportedly denied being in the parking lot. However, the owner of the Jeep later identified him by a tattoo on his back. Flanders was then arrested.

Ayite Dalmeida, 44, of Canton Circle in Concord, was arrested at 6:10 p.m. on Aug. 22, for simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. Officers were sent to the home for a domestic with a woman alleging that her husband had slapped her. The officers caught up with Dalmeida as he was driving west on Gully Hill. He reportedly told them that he had just had an argument with his wife and she was “yelling at him and being disrespectful.” The reporting officer went to the home and spoke with the woman who alleged that Dalmeida struck her with an open hand in the face. The officer noted a cut on the inside of her upper lip but didn’t observe any other injuries. Dalmeida was later arrested.
Jeffrey P. Neale, 27, of Tuxbury Road in Plaistow, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 22, on a driving while intoxicated charge. An officer saw a gold Acura pull out of the Holiday Inn parking lot without its headlights on and followed the vehicle. The car reportedly drifted back and forth while traveling north onto Storrs Street and onto North Main Street, and then made a wrong turn into the right lane. “As the vehicle began to pull out it moved forward and back several times, and I could hear the driver having trouble releasing the clutch without stalling the engine on the slight grade,” the officer alleged. The officer stopped the vehicle at Centre Street. The driver, Neale, allegedly had glassy, red eyes, was slurring his words, and reportedly stated he had just left a wedding. He was immediately arrested. Neale also received a summons for improper turning from the wrong lane.
Gavin R. Guay, 23, of Pleasant Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. on Aug. 21, on a bench warrant out of Sixth District Circuit Court for nonappearance on a driving after revocation or suspension charge.
Robert W. Glodgett, 52, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. on Aug. 18, for criminal trespass. Officers arrested Glodgett after he allegedly refused to leave The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street after previously being given a no trespass order on April 8, 2015. Glodgett was allegedly sitting in a chair just east of the parking lot, on the property.
