Concord Police Log: Teen Cited for Skateboarding
Plus, vehicle crashes, DWI arrests, alleged shoplifted items, and more.

Shannon E. Timoney, a homeless woman currently located in Concord, was arrested at 12:11 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2015, on a bench warrant. An officer saw a Mazda with a front headlight out and stopped the vehicle on Loudon Road. A check of the driver, Timoney, revealed a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from Aug. 26, 2015, and she was arrested.

Addison D. Curtis, 19, of South Main Street in Concord, received a summons at 2:38 a.m. on Aug. 25, for skateboarding in a prohibited area-city ordinance. While on North State Street, an officer saw two skateboarders and a bicyclist riding on the sidewalk and stopped them. The officer informed them of the ordinance and two of them stated that they understood and would stop. Addison, however, allegedly “became rude” with the officer, began pacing around, tapping his board against the ground, and stated that police were “always stopping him and he was getting frustrated with it,” according to the report. The officer told Addison that he was just warning them about the ordinance which banned skateboarding on sidewalks and streets in the Central Business District and Addison allegedly began mumbling about how ridiculous it was. Another officer arrived and told them they were free to leave. The two other individuals walked away but Addison allegedly got back on his skateboard and continued to ride it on North State Street toward Warren Street, a violation of the ordinance. The officers got in their cruisers and drove to him at which time he reportedly got off his skateboard again. When asked why he was allegedly violating the ordinance again, Addison stated that he was just trying to get home. He was issued the summons and is due in court on Sept. 28. The report stated that Addison got off his skateboard and walked from the area.

Melissa Brown, 45, of Pleasant Street in Hooksett, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 24, for felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer after an incident involving nearly $76 worth of items she allegedly attempted to shoplift from the Walmart on Loudon Road. The charge was upgraded to a felony due to previous theft convictions in Hillsborough Court in December 2014, Hooksett District Court in September 2014 and June 2013. She’s due in court on Oct. 5.
Brian W. Slaughter, 26, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 1 a.m. on Aug. 22, on two counts of driving while intoxicated and conduct after an accident. Officers were called to an apartment complex on Loudon Road for a report of a vehicle that hit a carport and left the scene. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were also sent to the complex to examine the integrity of the structure. A witness reported hearing a loud bang and then a black sedan driving away. The vehicle though left a trail of anti-freeze from the crash site to another part of the complex where a black BMW sedan was parked. The vehicle had front-end damage including its bumper and windshield, according to the report. While inspecting the BMW, the officer saw a man on the balcony of an apartment pacing back and forth and speaking on a cellphone. The man, Slaughter, was asked if he knew who owned the vehicle and he reportedly stated that he did. “Slaughter was very shaken up but was not injured,” according to the report. The officer allegedly smelled alcohol and the two spoke about how much he reportedly had to drink. Slaughter allegedly “was constantly swaying left and right as he stood.” He was later arrested and is due in court on Sept. 14.

Paige A. Dodsworth, 21, of Albin Road in Bow, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. on Aug. 19, and charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest or detention, possession of controlled drugs, and possession of drugs. A detective responded to a crash on Carter Hill Road and found a vehicle off the eastbound side of the road with extreme front-end damage and the driver’s airbag deployed. A woman was sitting in the passenger seat with two other vehicles stopping to assist. The detective approached the driver, Dodsworth, who was reportedly holding onto a car seat base and her purse, and had scratches on her legs. She was asked to drop the items and complied, and reportedly refused medical treatment but the detective alleged that she was “unsteady on her feet” and “smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage.” After some back and forth, she was arrested. According to the report, the detective asked if she needed anything from her vehicle while she was sitting in the cruiser and she reportedly stated that she needed her license to buy cigarettes. The detective went to the vehicle and then heard “screaming and pounding coming from the cruiser” with Dodsworth saying that “she was a criminal justice major and that I could not illegally search her car.” When the detective stated that she asked him to get her license, “she continued to scream about an illegal search.” The detective picked up her purse from the ground and didn’t see a wallet or ID inside but allegedly found a marijuana pipe with residue. Dodsworth allegedly continued to scream about an illegal search and stated, “she had the best f------ lawyer in the state and that he was going to destroy me,” according to the report. Another officer arrived to assist getting Dodsworth secured in the cruiser but she allegedly continued to scream, complained about needed to urinate, and that she wanted to go in the woods, according to the report. During transportation, she allegedly kicked on the cruiser’s cage and then banged her head four times before kicking it again. During processing, she allegedly exhibited mood swings and was “extremely uncooperative,” according to a second report put together by the assisting officer.
Jessie Major, 31, of Americana Drive in Concord, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. on Aug. 17, on a felony warrant out of Laconia for possession of a controlled drug.
William R. Kimball, 27, of Massabesic in Manchester, was arrested at 11:37 a.m. on Aug. 16, for driving after revocation or suspension after an accident on Sheep Davis Road between a Dodge and a Honda. A check stated that he had a suspended license from July 30, 2015, and a driving after revocation conviction in April 2010 in Laconia District Court so he was arrested. Kimball is due in court on Sept. 21.
Cody Roe, 21, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 5 a.m. on Aug. 15, for criminal trespass and resisting arrest or detention. Officers were sent to the McDonald’s Restaurant parking lot for two men sleeping in a car who were not responding to prompts to wake up and move along. During a check, officers found that Roe had a no trespass order from March 2015. When asked to step out of the car, he allegedly became “uncooperative and belligerent,” according to the report, and pulled his arm away when officers tried to cuff him. He was warned he would be Tased if he didn’t comply and was cuffed and taken into custody. Roe is due in court on Sept. 21.
Kaitlyn Rollins, 21, of Ray Road in Henniker, was arrested at 8 a.m. on Aug. 14, on a warrant from the Pembroke Police Department for possession of heroin. An officer saw a vehicle on Poplar Avenue with an expired inspection sticker and pulled the vehicle over. A passenger in the car, Rollins, had an active warrant and was arrested. She was later transferred to Pembroke Police at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 106.
Steven M. Pickering Jr., 33, of Village Street in Penacook, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 12, for criminal trespass on Aug. 7, 2015, on Mountain Road. He’s due in court on Sept. 21.
Katie J. O’Connor, 30, of Pond View Way in Hubbardston, MA, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. on July 24, on a theft charge at the Walmart on Loudon Road for allegedly attempting to shoplift about $35 worth of items.
Hannah E. Perry, 19, of Royal Gardens in Concord, was arrested at 9:02 a.m. on July 24, for felony theft by deception and criminal liability for conduct of another from March 29, 2015, at the Walmart on Loudon Road.
Albert Emery, 20, of Brockway Road in Hopkinton, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. on July 24, for driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. An officer reported seeing a Ford Taurus make several quick stops on North State Street without any vehicle or traffic control device in front of it. The vehicle later crossed over the double yellow line and the officer attempted to pull the vehicle over. The Ford continued to drive and then stop, striking the curbing. The driver, Emery, was allegedly “hostile and dismissive” after being asked for his license, which he reportedly didn’t have. “I’m in a rush,” he allegedly stated before being asked to step out of the vehicle. He was allegedly unsteady on his feet and immediately arrested. A passenger was taken into protective custody. Officers allegedly found three syringes and tin foil in the center console of the vehicle, which were sent to the lab for testing.
Walter I. Healey, 60, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 1:17 a.m. on July 24, on a generic city ordinance violation – open container – after allegedly being found walking with an open beer can.
