Ryan J. Luther, born 1992, of Manchester, was arrested at 3 a.m. on June 27, on disobeying an officer and possession of a license required charges on Airport Road as well as a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge after an incident on Shaker Road. According to a court affidavit, an officer on East Side Drive noticed a vehicle traveling toward him at a high rate of speed on June 9. Once the vehicle got closer to him, it slowed, and the officer ran the place and found it was owned by a man with an active warrant. The vehicle turned onto Loudon Road and then, onto Airport Road, where it pulled into a driveway. The officer approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver who reported that he didn’t have a license because his wallet was stolen. The driver allegedly gave the name of "Sean Luther" and a birthdate but didn't remember the last four digits of his Social Security number. He added that he didn't know his address either, according to the report. The officer checked the owner's name and the driver's name but couldn't determine that the driver was either man. So, the driver was given a summons for possession of a license. The officer kept looking for evidence about the man, eyeing Facebook and booking photos with the name Luther and came across one for Ryan Luther. The officer ran checks on Ryan Luther and was able to match tattoos he had with descriptors logged by the Nashua Police Department. The officer emailed New Hampshire State Police for photos and positively identified the driver as Ryan Luther. An arrest warrant was issued on June 24, and he was charged three days later.
