Traffic Stop Leads to Drug, Alcohol Charges for Concord Teen: Log

Police: Overdose call leads to arrest of tipster, woman charged with reckless conduct after crash, and man faces drug, urination charges.

CONCORD, NH - Dylan P. Walsh, 29, of Hanover Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2016, on a bench warrant. An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street after a check that found the driver – Walsh – reportedly had an electronic bench warrant for nonappearance in court on a theft by deception charge issued on Aug. 31, 2015, $402.50 cash to settle. He was arrested, booked, and released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on March 14.

Christie L. Craighead, 42, of South Curtisville Road in Concord, was arrested at 11:17 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2016, for conduct after an accident and two counts of reckless conduct; place another in danger after an incident at the intersection of North Main Street and I-393 on Jan. 11, 2016. She had a court date on Feb. 22.

Amber L. Gelinas, 26, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. on Jan. 19, 2016, for willful concealment on Jan. 16, 2016, at the Family Dollar store on Fisherville Road. She’s due in court on Feb. 29.

Diane C. Normand, 61, of Manchester Street in Concord, was arrested at 3:39 p.m. on Jan. 18, 2016, on a conduct after an accident charge on Jan. 12, 2016. She’s due in court on Feb. 29.

Crystol S. Pelletier, 26, of South Main Street in Concord, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2016, on a felony violation or probation or parole warrant issued by the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Department. She was arrested at the Quick Stop on South Main Street after police were sent to the store for a report of an overdose. Pelletier allegedly knew she had a warrant and gave a fake name when reporting the officer, according to the arrest report. She arrested and held without bail.

Charles H. Nelson, 31, of Beacon Street was arrested at 10:03 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2016, and charged with criminal mischief from an alleged incident on Dec. 12, 2015. Nelson reportedly flagged down an officer on while on Charles Street to report a hit-and-run accident. During a check, his name came up with an active criminal mischief warrant. “Nelson told me that it was probably a result of when he kicked a car on White Street at the end of last year,” the officer reported. Nelson was arrested and had a court date on Feb. 22.

Michael A. Barnes, 58, of Old Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, and charged with felony possession of controlled drugs, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, default or breach of bail conditions, and public disposal of human waste. While at TSR Hockey on Loudon Road, a woman approached an officer and alleged that there was a man standing behind the gas station urinating in public. The officer went over to speak with the man – Barnes – and he allegedly denied urinating. When told there was a witness, he reportedly apologized and said he needed “to go.” When told there was a bathroom in the gas station, he reportedly stated that he was just taking a break from work and had a fight with his girlfriend. The officer allegedly noticed “several bulges” in his pants asked if he could be patted down and he agreed. The officer allegedly found pill cutting device and a single tab of oxycontin and Barnes was arrested. According to a check, he had been arrested for criminal trespass from the month before so a default charge was added. He was arraigned on Feb. 8.

Ryan D. Sullivan, 20, no fixed address, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. An officer was sent to the Walmart on Loudon Road on Aug. 23, 2015, for a shoplifting incident. An employee at the store reported seeing a man coming into the store with a large bag and then leaving via an empty register and thought it looked suspicious. The employee checked the video surveillance and alleged that the man grabbed a sweatshirt and socks and then left. The man then reportedly came back into the store with a woman and child and they reportedly returned four pairs of jeans and a pair of duck pants valued at more than $111 for a gift card. The vehicle’s registration and the woman were both from Epping, according to a court affidavit. They then went to the register and reportedly purchased $9.03 worth of items. The employee went out into the parking lot but the man reportedly got into a Nissan and left the area. They then called police and cancelled the remaining amount of the gift card. Another employee recognized the man to be Sullivan since they went to high school together, according to a court affidavit. The officer spoke to the owner of the vehicle who stated that her granddaughter had used the car that day. Both she and the granddaughter came in to speak to the officer about the situation, according to the report. She stated that the man, “Alex,” was a friend of a friend, had asked for a ride to Walmart, and offered to pay for gas so she agreed to bring him. He allegedly gave her the gift card and then asked for her to buy him cigarettes, which she did, according to a court affidavit. She then dropped him off at the Alton Woods development. When shown a photo of Sullivan, she allegedly identified him as “Alex.” Sullivan, according to his arrest report, was in jail in Strafford County and was served with the arrest notice there and held.
