Mass. Man Indicted On Deadly Weapon, Stolen SUV Charges: Court Roundup

Maine woman indicted on fentanyl dealing charge; Concord woman indicted on deadly weapon, stolen vehicle charges; theft, drug indictments.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted in Rockingham County Superior Court recently.

Jeffrey J. Steele Jr., 28, of Mariette Drive in Portsmouth on a felony habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Middle Street in Portsmouth on May 27, 2021, after being certified a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Travis Thomas Tillman, 21, of Langley Road in Avon, Massachusetts, on reckless conduct-deadly weapon, receiving stolen property, tampering with witnesses and informants, and two criminal restraint charges, all felonies. He was accused of placing a woman and child in danger and refusing to release them by driving a stolen GMC Yukon SUV at high rates of speed, abruptly changing lanes, with flat tires, in Rockingham County on March 19. He was also accused of attempting to induce the victim via Facebook, asking her on April 28 to not to appear in court. John William Vanderveer Jr., 52, of Floral Street in Lawrence, MA, on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing jewelry from Walmart in Salem on Nov. 28, 2021.

Brittany M. Veader, 35, of Ames Hill Drive in Tewksbury, MA, on a felony possession of fentanyl charge in Salem on March 20, 2021.

Jessica Hope Walton, 33, of Grove Street in Haverhill, MA, on possession of crack cocaine and possession of fentanyl and cocaine mix charges, both felonies, on March 26 in Plaistow. She was previously convicted on two possession with intent to distribute charges in Haverhill District Court in Massachusetts in September 2020.

Leishia Monique Witham, 45, of Main Street in South Sanford, Maine, on possession of fentanyl with intent to sell or dispense, possession of tramadol, and possession of crack cocaine charges, all felonies, in Salem on April 5.

Brian A. Shepherd, 38, of Hackett Lane in Hampton on a felony penalty; registration of criminal offenders charge. A sex offender, he was accused of failing to register with Hampton police as required to do by state law between Nov. 9, and Nov. 30, 2021.

Margaret Smith, 36, of Dover Street in Portsmouth on a felony driving while certified as a habitual offender charge on Feb. 15, 2020, accused of driving on Route 101 in Epping after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Dain F. Stokes, 62, of Summer Lane in Hollis on two felony theft by misapplication of property charges. He was accused of failing to make a specified payment to a project in Africa between July 27, 2018, and March 22, 2019, in Epping.

Domenic V. Vitello, 22, of Warren Street in Nashua on a felony criminal mischief charge. He was accused of striking a Newmarket water pipe causing it to burst on Aug. 1, 2021.

Brittney Webster, 31, of First New Hampshire Turnpike in Northwood on possession of buprenorphine and possession of methamphetamine charges, both felonies, in Londonderry on Dec. 5, 2019.

Todd Andrew Wilbur, 39, of Windham Depot Road in Derry in a felony identify fraud charge. He was accused of using a woman’s credit card to obtain goods on Aug. 8, 2021, in Londonderry.

Queen Tiara Wilson, 23, of Liberty Street in Concord on reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, theft by unauthorized taking, and receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. She was accused of stealing a Toyota RAV4 SUV in Londonderry on Feb. 6, racing away from police and state troopers traveling speeds of close to 100 mph, and possessing the stolen RAV4 in Plaistow on Feb. 7.
