Woman Shoots Husband In Stafford: Police

A woman shot her husband during an argument early Saturday in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and George Mason Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Jackie Lyn Miller, 32, of Stafford, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, reckless handling of a firearm and shooting near an occupied dwelling.

School Bus Hit In Loudoun County: Police

A man was arrested after running into a school bus and then plowing into a mailbox Friday morning in the 25000 block of Mineral Springs Circle, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Daniel R. Miller Jr., 40, of Aldie, was charged with one count of felony hit and run and one count of misdemeanor hit and run.
