I don’t hold to the traditional definition that a neighbor is simply someone who lives next to you. For me, it takes more than just an adjacent address to qualify as a neighbor.
It’s rare for me to see something that instills the feeling that people are able to act for the greater good of the community. People tend to be in their own worlds, unaware of other people.
