Teen Arrested On Gun Storage, Other Charges
A Bedford teenager with an active revocation case was arraigned last week on more driving charges as well as a gun storage charge.
Rayyan Ahmed, 19, of Bedford, was arraigned on Oct. 15 on reckless operation, breach of bail, driving after revocation or suspension, transport of alcohol by a minor, and negligent storage of a firearm charges after an incident in late September in Bedford.
According to court documents, Ahmed was driving on the Everett Turnpike north onto Route 101 east in Bedford when a trooper stopped him. The trooper accused him of driving recklessly, with a license suspended in June, having liquor in the backseat, violating his bail, and having a gun in the backseat of the vehicle where a child could gain access to it.
Ahmed, according to court docs, was arrested by Bedford police on July 19 on operating after suspension, accused of driving on Route 101 in an unregistered vehicle and failing to stop for police. He is scheduled to be arraigned on those charges in court Tuesday.
