Concord Police Log: Manchester Teen Arrested for Assaulting Cop, Girlfriend
Plus, Penacook man allegedly tries to stab dog; man allegedly bites partner's ear; disabled woman reportedly refuses to leave Center.

Justin R. Lacroix, 23, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. on March 26, 2015, for simple assault and domestic violence simple assault. Officers were called to North State Street for a report of an assault between a couple. When police arrived, along with fire and rescue teams, they spoke with a man outside who alleged that he was assaulted by his partner of five years, Lacroix. The man alleged that he was at Tandy’s Top Shelf speaking with an acquaintance that stated that he should end his relationship and Lacroix reportedly overheard the conversation and became upset. At home, they reportedly argued and Lacroix allegedly bit him in the ear. The officer noted the bite mark but the man refused medical treatment. The man made other assault allegations as well, according to the report. The officers went to speak with Lacroix and alleged that he was intoxicated. Lacroix reportedly alleged that the other man pushed him after breaking off their relationship. He alleged that he was up against a wall and bit the other man to get away. He was arrested and is due in court on May 4.
Katharine S. Taylor, 56, of North Spring Street in Concord, received a summons at 6:26 p.m. on March 24, for criminal trespass. Police were called to the Disabilities Rights Center on North Main Street for an unwanted guest. An officer made contact with Taylor, the person in question, and she reportedly stated that she was dissatisfied with the services she had received from the org and was formally protesting. After speaking with the owner of the building, who requested that she be removed, and Taylor allegedly refusing to leave, she was escorted out and given a summons to appear in court on April 27.
Patrick M. Hobson, 22, of West River Road in Hooksett, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. on March 23, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court for nonpayment of fine from May 10, 2013, $404 cash to settle. He was arrested while driving on North Main Street with a defective driver’s side taillight. He’s due in court on April 7.

River D. Richer, 17, of Winter Street in Laconia, received a summons at 2:36 a.m. on March 20, for youth operator’s license and protective custody; child in danger violations while driving on the Ext 16 off ramp of I-93. He was stopped for driving a 2004 Subaru he had purchased in Massachusetts with plates from a 2008 Subaru owned by his mother. He’s due in court on April 27.
Jason M. Gates, 32, of Preston Road in Hillsboro, was arrested at 11:53 a.m. on March 17, on a warrant out of Rindge on a theft from a building. He’s due in Jaffrey District Court on May 6.

Clayton T. Lyndberg, 25, of East Side Drive in Concord, was arrested at 8 p.m. on March 8, on a theft by deception felony warrant from September 2014 at Greenlands Equipment Corporation on Manchester Street. He’s due in court on April 13.
Warren R. Picard, 52, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 7:58 p.m. on March 2, for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and possession of alcoholic beverage on public property. A person let an officer on North Main Street know about a man who was intoxicated on the fourth floor of an apartment building and wasn’t leaving. The officer went to the building and found Picard allegedly sleeping on the floor. The officer spoke with him and Picard allegedly stated he had been sleeping there the last three nights. When asked if he saw the “No Trespassing” sign, Picard allegedly stated that he didn’t care, he was homeless, and needed a place to sleep. An open bottle of Chardonnay was found next to him, according to police, and he was arrested and held without bail. Picard allegedly wouldn’t stop yelling while being taken to the police cruiser.
Stephen G. Olivo, 55, of Union Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:05 p.m. on Feb. 28, on a bench warrant out of Hillsborough District Court from December 2014.
Thakur P. Kharel, 23, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, for conduct after an accident from Feb. 22, at Concord Gardens. He’s due in court on April 6.
Scott R. Johnston, 30, of Devco Drive in Manchester, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, on possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs charges. Johnston was stopped on North Main Street for making a U-turn. The officer allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the car and after some back and forth, Johnston allegedly reached into the Mazda’s glove box and retrieved his marijuana and handed it to the officer. He’s due in court on April 13.
Shane C. Masters, 35, of Canal Street in Penacook, was arrested at 5:13 p.m. on Feb. 22, on a felony reckless conduct charge as well as attempting to commit destruction/vandalism and resisting arrest. Officers were called to an apartment on Canal Street to speak to a woman who alleged that her neighbor came over with a knife and tried to stab her dogs and boyfriend, according to an arrest and court affidavit. They spoke to the caller and another man who alleged that Masters was outside of the building screaming at the woman and another man. He allegedly threatened to “gut” her dogs and approached them with a knife in his hand. Masters allegedly then threw the knife at the building. The reporting officer found a large kitchen knife in the snow near the porch of the building. They went to speak with Masters, who was reportedly intoxicated, and angry that the dogs were barking. He allegedly admitted to having the knife but denied threatening anyone with it or throwing it. When they tried to take him into custody, Masters allegedly “tensed his entire body and violently pulled his left arm away from (the officer).” He was told to stop repeatedly but allegedly didn’t and was taken to the ground. Masters was held without bail.
Valerie R. Niyonizigiye, 18, of Hall Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:33 p.m. on Feb. 22, for simple assault and domestic violence simple assault. Officers were called to Hall Street for a disturbance between siblings. When they arrived, they spoke with a woman and a man about the incident. The man stated that Niyonizigiye was taking off during weekend and their mother was going to kick her out because she wasn’t helping to tend to the house. They moved her stuff onto the porch, he stated. Niyonizigiye then came home and everyone started arguing but she reportedly went to her room. They continued to argue through the door and Niyonizigiye opened the door and allegedly slapped the man. Previously, he admitted, he had been arrested for hitting his sister back so he didn’t this time. She allegedly came at him punching and kicking him, he said. Niyonizigiye stated that she received a phone call saying her things were outside but some of her stuff was missing. She alleged that her brother was punching her bedroom door and she opened it to tell him to leave her alone. Niyonizigiye later allegedly admitted to slapping him in self-defense. She was arrested and is due in court on April 6.
Timothy Pinet, 19, (pictured) of Westwood Drive in Manchester, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. on Feb. 20, on three counts of simple assault, two counts of domestic violence-simple assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest or detention. Officers were sent to the parking lot of an apartment building on Loudon Road for a report of a man reportedly choking his girlfriend and “flipping out.” The officers split up the parties and spoke first with a woman who alleged that Pinet had “taken something that was making him act weird.” He reportedly fell asleep and urinated on the floor in the apartment. When the woman tried to wake him up to take him home, he allegedly “grew angry and slapped” the woman waking him up. The woman reported being hit three times trying to get him to leave. A second woman said that after he reportedly started “acting messed up,” he was asked to leave. After the first assault, she allegedly began video recording the incident on her cellphone. She emailed the video to the reporting officer and he confirmed later that Pinet had allegedly slapped the woman in the face, according to the report. Other officers spoke with Pinet and later, took him into custody. He allegedly “became aggressive” and pulled away from officers. During the process, he allegedly turned to one of the officers and shoved him with two hands. Later, the reporting officer learned that Pinet had allegedly punched a vehicle’s window in the parking lot while a woman was trying to leave the complex, so a disorderly conduct charge was added. Pinet was held on $5,000 cash bail.
