NHSP Investigation Leads To Woman Pleading Guilty To Trafficking

CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire woman pleaded guilty this week in U.S. District Court to drug trafficking conspiracy and firearms charges. Nicole Roskos, 30, of Epsom, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, controlled substances and using and carrying a firearm during – and in relation to – a drug trafficking crime after a New Hampshire State Police investigation. The investigation bean in 2017 when Roskos sold fentanyl to a cooperating individual.

In September 2017, troopers executed a search warrant at Roskos’ home and found four firearms, ammunition, and more than 500 grams of fentanyl, with a street value of around $24,000.

“Opioids are killing hundreds of residents of New Hampshire each year,” acting-U.S. Attorney John Farley said in a statement. “The danger posed by drug trafficking is further increased when drug dealers use firearms to further their unlawful activities. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to target drug trafficking and violent crime. I commend the law enforcement officers for protecting the community from the dangers posed by the fentanyl and firearms in this case.”

Jacob Bourque, 21, of Epping, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2018, for criminal threatening-deadly weapon and violation a protective order on Route 101 East in Candia.

Jason Bakoian, 35, of Beverly, MA, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2018, on a bench warrant on Route 16 North in Rochester.

Elsie Thompson, 22, of Hampton, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2018, for DUI on Route 16 North in Rochester.
