NHSP Sobriety Checkpoint Coming To Bow
New Hampshire State Police will be attempting to net drunk drivers sometime this week.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire State Police will be hosting a sobriety checkpoint in Merrimack County this week in an attempt to catch drunk drivers, according to a press release. Sgt. Daniel Baldassarre of Troop D stated that the checkpoint, approved recently by the Merrimack County Superior Court, would be held in Bow the week of Sept. 10, 2017. The program is funded by federal and state grants.
“A review of records has shown that the use of alcohol by individuals who operate motor vehicles has resulted in an alarming number of deaths and personal injury accidents,” a press statement noted.
