Johnathon Couturier, 37, of South Main Street in Concord was arrested at 9 a.m. on Nov. 17 on two felony sex offender registration; knowing failure to comply charges. He was arrested at police headquarters. On Oct. 19, a detective working in the sex offender tracking program found that Couturier was registered in the system after being convicted of certain uses of computer services prohibited in Belknap County Superior Court in March 2021. He was required to register in October and March, the report said. Couturier, the detective wrote, appeared to have created a Facebook account and, on one of the posts, commented that he was enjoying his “new place.” The detective checked previous filings and then requested a search warrant for his Facebook account, a report said, to find out when he created the account. The account was created in June, the report said. Later, after speaking with Couturier’s employer, he discovered he was no longer working at the job he listed. The detective then filed two charges based on not filing the Facebook account and not reporting an employment charge, the affidavit said.
