Michael G. Gross, 47, of Thorndike Street in Concord was arrested at 4:56 p.m. on Sept. 24 on a felony operating after certified as a habitual offender charge. Officers, at around 11 a.m. on July 8, were requested to arrest Elijah Gross on a Warner warrant and believed he was heading to Thorndike Street. They went to the home and spoke with a woman who seemed “extremely defensive and disrespectful toward officers,” an affidavit said, who denied Elijah Gross was there. The officers left and went to their vehicles. While doing this, a motorcycle and rider drove into the parking lot, and the rider entered the home through a back door. The officers approached the home again and knocked on the door. The woman again answered the door, told the officers they had no reason to be there, threatened to call her attorney-landlord, and requested a warrant, the report said. The woman denied the rider was Elijah Gross, the affidavit said, and went back inside the home. The officers looked up information on the family and found that Michael Gross, another relative, had a neck tattoo and looked like the rider of the motorcycle, the report said. Dispatch said Michael Gross was a habitual offender and was previously convicted of habitual offender in July 2017. An affidavit was filed on Aug. 31, and a warrant on Sept. 8 for Michael Gross’ arrest.
